We are going to organize the minisymposium Hypercomplex methods in mathematics and applications at the
15th International Conference Computational and Mathematical Methods in Science and Engineering CMMSE 2015, Cadiz, Spain, 06-10 July, 2015.
The Conference will take place at BARCELÓ COSTA BALLENA HOTEL, Cadiz, SPAIN.
Roughly spoken, hypercomplex methods are function theoretic methods in higher dimensions. In these function theories complex numbers are replaced by elements of some (hypercomplex) algebras. The mathematical use of quaternions and other hypercomplex numbers ranges from higher dimensional analysis and geometry up to corresponding numerical and computational methods. Contributions on applications of hypercomplex algebras (quaternions, bi-complex numbers, Cliord algebras etc.) to boundary value problems in mathematical physics, uid mechanics and elasticity theory are welcome. Furthermore, general Appell sequences, Fourier series expansions , signal processing, geometric algebras and their applications, etc. would also be suitable topics.
On behalf of the Scientific Committee of this Conference it is a great pleasure for us to invite you to come to Cadiz and present some of your latest results. Welcome are applications of hypercomplex algebras (quaternions, bi-complex numbers, Clifford algebras etc. ) to boundary value problems in mathematical physics, fluid mechanics and elasticity theory. Furthermore general Appell sequences, Fourier series expansions , signal processing problems, geometric algebras and their applications, etc. Mathematical use of quaternions and other hypercomplex numbers reach from hypercomplex analysis, geometrical problems up to corresponding numerical and computational methods. It would be a great honour for us to welcome you as participant in our symposium. You will find all information on the conference website:
We need as soon as possible a tentative title and an abstract of about 10 lines. Please send this to one of these addresses:
Klaus.Guerlebeck@uni-weimar.de (Klaus Guerlebeck), firstname.lastname@example.org (Helmuth Malonek), email@example.com (Wolfgang Sproessig)
We would be very much obliged if you decide to accept our invitation. If there are any questions please do not hesitate to contact us. Looking forward to meeting you
