18th International Conference on Finite or Infinite Dimensional Complex Analysis and Applications (18thICFIDCAA)
13-17 August 2010
University of Macau
Chairman: Tao QIAN, Vice Chairman: Chung-Chun YANG
With a great pleasure we announce that the 18th International Conference on Finite or Infinite Dimensional Complex Analysis and Applications (18thICFIDCAA) is to be held in University of Macau, during the 13rd to the 17th, August, 2010. The main themes of the conference include, not exclusively, Analytic Boundary Value Problems and PDE’s, Clifford and Harmonic Analysis, Conformal and Quasi-conformal Mappings, Complex Analysis In Relation to Functional Equations, Geometric Analysis of Complex Manifolds, Special Functions and Related Topics, and applications, including Signal and Image Analysis by Using Complex and Clifford Analysis Methods.
As one of the main roles, the 18th ICFIDCAA is to promote the creation and maintenance of contacts with scientists from diverse countries and cultures. The conference program consists of 50-minutes plenary lectures, 40-minutes main talks and 30-minutes contributed talks. In connecting with the conference two publications are being considered by the Committee, of which one is a conference proceeding and the other is a book for selected articles based on the talks given in the conference and invited contributions. Limited funding is to be allocated for providing necessary financial supports to speakers and participants for attending the conference.
The Committee has planned to give some monetary award to encourage young researchers of ages 35 or less who attend the conference and have done significant work in complex or harmonic analysis and their applications. The candidates will be recommended by the members of Scientific Committee or plenary speakers or session organizers. The assessment of the candidates will be made by a panel consisting of 4-6 reputed mathematicians invited or appointed by the Chair of the Committee. The number of recipients of the award and cash amounts for the recipients will be determined later, depending on the funding situation.
