ICCA 8 – 3rd circular

Dear Colleague

The 8th International Conference on Clifford Algebras and their Applications in Mathematical Physics ( ICCA 8 ) will take place on 26-30 May 2008 under the auspices of IMECC – UNICAMP. We recall that ICCA8 will be a continuation of a 20 year old sequence of prestigious and successful international conferences devoted to the mathematical aspects of Clifford algebras and their manifold applications.

An updated version of the conference website is available at

Some important new information that can be found at the website are:

1) CONFERENCE FEE – Because of the substantial depreciation of the American Dollar (USD) relative to the Brazilian Real (BRL) during 2007 (almost 20%), the Organizing Committee of ICCA8 decided to reduce the value of the regular fee in BRL from R$ 620 to R$ 540, keeping therefore the same approximated value for the fee in USD as of May 2007.

2) HOTEL PRICES – The prices of the suggested Hotels for 2008 are available with special discounts for ICCA8. An additional Hotel is suggested.

3) TOURISM – Suggestions of touristic packages are showed with special prices and nice destinations.

If you have any question, please send a message to icca8@ime.unicamp.br. We also ask you to be kind enough to send this e-mail for potential interested people that you may know.

We hope to see you at Campinas in 2008.

Best regards,

Waldyr A. Rodrigues Jr. & Jayme Vaz Jr.
Chairmen of ICCA8
